On Monday I was able to see Michael for the first time. He is such a sweet heart! I couldn't help but take some pictures. (Emilee also wanted me to take pictures.) She really wanted to see him. When she saw these pictures she said, "Oh, how cute. He is already getting so big!"
He looks so much like his dad. Julie says he likes his binkie and to have his finger in his ear. So silly. (bottom picture) The nurse saw me taking pictures and covered all of his cords with his blanket - he looked so content; especially when he was able to be held by his mom. When the nurse laid him in her arms he cuddled his head into her chest and curled his arms up under his chin; so cute! It was so fun to visit with Julie again - it seems like forever since we've seen her. And very great to see Michael. He is so strong and such a trooper. Hopefully Michael keeps recovering well and we can party soon. (To see more info on Michael's health see "Mom & Dad Starr" link.)

What a sweet little boy! He looks so good. I am so glad for Julie that the worst part is now behind her.
