We have 2 timber posts holding up our covered back patio. One morning we woke up and found a red robin trying to build a nest. It was so fun to watch. Although we were amazed at how inefficient the bird was. He would bring twigs, drop them, and pack them down with his bum. Only every time he did this he would knock other sticks onto the ground; making a huge mess. Emilee was particularly getting frustrated with this process, she kept commenting on how the bird was never going to get his nest built. Then Emilee noticed a bird on the lawn watching this bird. She said, "Ohhhh, there is the mommy bird watching the daddy bird build their house." We watched awhile longer then Emilee blurted out in complete frustration, "That mommy bird needs to come over and tell that daddy bird how to build their house; he is doing it all wrong!" Then after the bird dropped a few more twigs onto the ground she told me that the "mommy bird needed to come and build the house because the daddy bird was way to messy and not doing it right!" Oh dear, what have I taught her about women!!! (For four days we watched this bird try to build a nest with no success then we went to Logan for one night and came back to find this. Now there are bird eggs in the nest and the kids love to watch the mommy bird sit on them.)

That fits Emilee to a "T". That is awesome. Now we know who is really behind Scott with all the building you guys do. If it weren't for you that house may never have gotten done. I love it!!
